Acceptance by peer group is a very important phase during teenager�s life. Emotion regulation is one of factor related to that issue. Due to that reason, is important to know whether there is a relation between those variables. Moreover, the purpose for this research is to find out whether there is a correlation between emotion regulation with acceptance by peer groups or not. The data for this particular research was collected using 200 junior high school students, with a range of age from 12 to 15 years old. The methods used in the data collection processes were questionnaires and analysis with Pearson Product Moment correlation calculations with the help of SPSS version 11.0. The result from this research is showing that in fact there is a positive correlation between emotion regulation and acceptance by peer groups rxy = 0,471, p (0.000) < 0,01.
